About Me

Hi there, my name is Josh Dalcher and this is my blog all about my experiences as a Catholic man.

I am 34 years old, married to my lovely wife Tasha and we have a three-and-a-half year old daughter.  I am a cradle Catholic, however I did fall away from practicing seriously during my college years.  Over the last three years or so, I have been experiencing a strong reversion to the Faith.  I am happy to say that I am active in my parish.  I help coordinate the That Man Is You! men’s program, I am the Faithful Navigator of my local Knights of Columbus Assembly, and I am an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.  In addition to these activities, I truly enjoy apologetics and I like engaging in discussions and research about the Catholic Faith.

It is important to note that I am not a priest or a deacon, I hold no degrees in theology.  I also don’t consider myself a “normal” Catholic man, because most Catholic men don’t engage in activities beyond Sunday Mass.  This blog contains my personal account, my thoughts, and my interpretations and I hope you find something here that brings you closer to Christ.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this blog, and please feel free to ask any questions or leave comments.

But sanctify the Lord Christ in your hearts, being ready always to satisfy every one that asketh you a reason of that hope which is in you.
1 Peter 3:15 (DRB translation)
