Hi there, my name is Josh Dalcher and this is my blog all about my experiences as a Catholic man. In 2023, I was ordained a deacon for the Archdiocese of Denver.

I am 46 years old, married to my lovely wife Tasha and we have a three wonderful kids here on Earth and three in the arms of the Lord.  I am a cradle Catholic, however I did fall away from practicing seriously during my college years. Over the decade or so, I have experienced a profound reversion to the Faith.  This journey led at first to becoming more active in my parish.  I helped coordinate the That Man Is You! men’s program, I held many offices in my local Knights of Columbus Council and Assembly, and my path to ordination accelerated greatly thanks to my time as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.  In addition to these activities, my love for apologetics and research about the Catholic Faith grew greatly.

This blog contains my personal account, my thoughts, and my interpretations and I hope you find something here that brings you closer to Christ. Much of these writings took place before I was ordained, and none of the opinions contained here should be considered anything more than my own personal thoughts.
